A Father’s Day to remember

Father/daughter day of adventure for Father’s Day!

Guy Casey, 77, of Chateau Ridge in Castle Pines Village gave up the “friendly skies” when he retired as an international pilot for United and Continental Airlines.  However, when his daughter Daneen Lindner recently flew in from California, they celebrated Father’s Day together by flying across the skies another way – by zip lining at the Castle Rock Zip Line Tours at the Philip S. Miller Park in Castle Rock.

The zip line covers 1.5 miles with speeds over 50 mph at times.  Daneen laughed that although she found the views breathtaking, there were times she questioned her gift until she saw that her father was loving every minute.  The father/daughter team continues to make memories together.  What will you do in your next chapter?
