Basketball superstars
Three Rock Canyon High School varsity basketball players were selected as the best of the best in the state of Colorado according to Biokats Sports Network. Aidan Peck and Gavin Hershberger, seniors, were selected in the top 20 elite category which means overall, regardless of grade or classification. Mac Terry, a junior, was selected in the top 20 for the freshman to junior designation.

All of the chosen basketball players (boys and girls) were invited to play in Biokat’s “The Show” Allstar Game on March 24-25 at Metro State University.
Mac Terry, a junior, was chosen as the best of the best for the freshman to junior designation. All three played at The Show with the rest of the state’s top ballers.
The players were chosen by members of the media who made the selections based on skill and performance; coaches were also encouraged to submit nominations. The Show was launched in 2001 by the Denver Nuggets to showcase the state’s top players and remains the largest basketball tournament of allstars in the mountain west.
