Castle Pines Village Stingrays finish season undefeated

by Carin R. Kirkegaard

The Castle Pines Village Stingrays finished the summer swim season undefeated in the Mountain High Swim League (MHSL) B2 division.

Not only did the Stingrays win each dual meet of the regular season, they also took home the division trophy at championships after narrowly beating the Dam West Dolphins.

“With a 23 point difference, it was a whole team win,” said Meredith Woodrow, the Stingray’s parent representative.

The Stingrays are a part of the MHSL and sent many swimmers onto the league’s All Star meet.

“We have had awesome excitement and participation from all ages this year. Kendra Kelley has done an excellent job of balancing fun with helping the kids understand how to perform the strokes better. Compared to last season, we have had more All Star swimmers and less disqualifications,” continued Woodrow.
