City of Castle Pines North to Sponsor 5K Fun Run
The City of Castle Pines North fun run, “Running in the Pines” is being planned for Saturday, September 20. This combination 5K and one-mile run/walk will take participants throughout the city.
The 5K will begin at 8 a.m. and the one-mile event will start at 9 a.m. Residents of all ages are invited to participate. Fees for the event are $25 per adult, $10 per youth (17 & yournger). The race will begin in the King Soopers Shopping Center and end with awards at the season’s last Market in the Pines which will be held at Village Square Shopping Center.
More details will be provided via CPN e-mail alerts as the event nears. In the meantime, many volunteers are needed to help pave the way for this first-time CPN event.
