To many who live in the Forest Park neighborhood of Castle Pines, Mayra Goluskin is the fun-loving friend and neighbor next door. But what some don’t know is that Goluskin is also an expert in the world of travel and she owns a travel agency that specializes in remote destinations, boutique tours, and cruises abroad.
Mayra Goluskin, along with her sister Monica Diaz own Cruise Planners, a travel agency that is directly affiliated with American Express. With the extensive experience and backing of American Express, Goluskin and Diaz are able to create one-of-a-kind destination trips to places once closed to travelers from the west – places like Eastern Europe, Vietnam, China, Nicaragua, and Guatemala.
The sisters also indulge their clients with grand cruise vacation packages to exotic destinations such as the Mediterranean and Black Seas, as well as river boat cruises on such famous lines as Windjammer and Viking. They also arrange exquisite one-of-a-kind boutique tours like Italian cooking classes around Tuscany, group tours, and historical tours of regions like Vietnam and Peru.
Goluskin has spent a lifetime cultivating her passion for travel, having lived both in France and England. She has also traveled extensively throughout Europe, Africa, Asia and the Americas. Goluskin holds a master’s degree in International Business, and has had the honor of working with the Australian Embassy to promote international travel. She speaks three languages fluently and is currently in the process of expanding her knowledge even further with a master’s degree in History. Goluskin said she came into the world of planning excursions hoping to “apply what I have learned in my life, with what I love. I have the experience and knowledge to help my clients explore the world!”
