For the first time ever, Castle Pines Athletics brought flag football to Castle Pines this fall! Eight teams of children grades kindergarten to fourth grade enjoyed Friday night practices and games at the local parks in Castle Pines, with the last game of the season on October 27.

“We’ve had so many requests to bring flag football to the community,” said Lane Roberts, Castle Pines Athletics director. Roberts said Manager Shannon Terry presented her with the idea and helped get the program up and running.

“Shannon really worked hard to help bring this new program to the community, and it turned out to be a fun season for the kids. We could not have made it happen without our awesome volunteer dads that coached for us.”

Special thanks to the many Castle Pines dads for coaching a flag football team this season. Castle Pines Athletics plans to bring flag football back again next fall.
