Kids golf for free; no paying adult required

Information provided by South Suburban Parks and Recreation

South Suburban Park and Recreation District is waiving green fees for youth 17 years and under who golf during weekends at the District’s Littleton Golf Course, Family Sports Golf Course, South Suburban Golf Course and Lone Tree Golf Club.

South Suburban is the only metro-area park and recreation provider that allows youth to play golf for free without an accompanying paying adult. Free golf is valid after 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday at Littleton Golf Course (Bowles and Federal), Family Sports Golf Course (Arapahoe and Peoria) and Lone Tree Golf Club (Lincoln and Lone Tree Pkwy.); and after 6 pm at South Suburban Golf Course (Colorado Blvd. and Dry Creek).

Golf is a life-long sport, and helps youth develop and practice etiquette, respect and honesty. Golfing is a great form of exercise; both physically and mentally.

Tee times can be made up to three days in advance. For course information, including dress codes, visit www.sspr.org
