Kids Safety and Wellness Expo June 12
Sky Ridge Medical Center will host the annual Kids Safety and Wellness Expo at The Lone Tree Recreation Center on Saturday, June 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This free event geared for children ages three to thirteen, and their parents, is a fun way to learn about being safe.
Utilizing the newly completed park space just west of the recreation center, this year’s expo will be the best yet. After checking out fire trucks and AirLife choppers, kids can simulate 911 calls, learn how to handle emergencies at home and receive a free helmet check. Additionally, pediatricians and specialists will be on hand to answer questions and offer information about wellness and health. There will be fun for all – food, face painting, music, jumpy castles, giveaways and more.
