National Prescription Drug Take Back Day

The Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is holding its annual National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, October 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  The program “aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications,” according to the DEA website.

The two locations closest to 80108 are the Lone Tree Police Department at Sky Ridge Medical Center located at 10101 Ridgegate Parkway in Lone Tree and the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office Highlands Ranch Substation located at 9250 Zotos Drive in Highlands Ranch.
