Public comment welcome for Douglas County 2030 Transportation Plan

The final DRAFT of the Douglas County 2030 Transportation Plan is currently available for review and comment. Public responses are due to Douglas County by August 18.
The Douglas County 2030 Transportation Plan identifies future transportation needs and estimates short-term and long-term capital improvements needed to accommodate future growth.
The 2030 Plan provides both technical and policy direction for decisions related to planning future transportation facilities and improvements throughout Douglas County.
In addition, it guides the County in making future modifications to transportation facilities, ranging from major road widening and construction projects to the addition of bike lanes.
Transportation modifications affect the day-to-day travel of Douglas County residents. The Plan includes corridor prioritization and improvement priorities for funding future transportation needs.
