RidgeGate Parkway weekend closures starting April 30

For residents and commuters in the Castle Pines community who have been enjoying the convenience of the new RidgeGate Parkway to Main Street extension, road closures may cause delays the fist two weeks in May. Ridgegate Parkway will be closed in both directions – between Peoria and Meridian Village Parkway – on weekends ONLY (Saturdays and Sundays) beginning April 30 through May 15, from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The weekend closures will allow for the completion of the placement of the top lift of asphalt paving.

Ridgegate Parkway opened to traffic in December 2010. Since then, approximately 15,000 of the 54,000 vehicles per day that previously used Lincoln Avenue for east-west travel have used the RidgeGate Parkway to Mainstreet extension.
