Scrooge wins the Cutest Pet in the Pines contest!

Thank you to all of our readers who submitted pictures of their adorable pets for our Cutest Pet in the Pines Holiday Contest! The holiday season brought out the best in your closest furry friends, and we enjoyed seeing all of the great photos.
The staff of The Castle Pines Connection chose the winner in what was a very close race. “Baby” the Himalayan cat captured our attention with his “bah humbug” face and sassy spirit! Owner Joanie Micale said that Baby is full of fun, and he doesn’t really believe he’s a cat. “He’s a hoot!” remarked Micale.
Baby will receive a $50 gift certificate to The Pet Stuff Place in The Village at Castle Pines.
Our runners up were just as cute and full of holiday spirit. Congratulations to Scotch O’Connor (upper left), Trixie (upper right), Copper (lower left), and Brinkley (lower right) – all pictured below.
