Spring will be here soon, so it’s the perfect time to get registered for sports leagues and activities. Here is a quick reference guide to some of the most popular leagues and recreational activities around.
Castle Pines Athletics
Spring soccer begins in late March and runs through May 18. The co-ed recreational program is available for children ages four to third grade. Soccer Tots, a program designed for three-year-olds, is back again this year. All practices and games are held at the four neighborhood parks in Castle Pines. Castle Rock Recreation Center

Colorado Storm of Castle Rock
Colorado Storm is currently registering U6 through U14 recreational boys and girls soccer. The season begins on March 16 and runs through May 18. Visit www.coloradostorm.com/castlerock for more information or to register.
The Cougars Lacrosse mission is to give kids a chance to play the most exciting sport on earth while emphasizing proper fundamentals, good sportsmanship and teamwork. Cougars Lacrosse organizes teams for boys in second through eighth grades and teams for girls in third through eighth grades. The season starts in late February and runs through May. DC Dolphins Youth Athletics offers a host of youth sports. Volleyball registration runs through January 18 and practices will begin in February. Baseball registration runs through January 31 with practices beginning in March. Safe Splash Swim School

South Metro Volleyball
Registration for the spring session of South Metro Volleyball’s competitive youth league for all ages opens on February 4. Many practices and games take place in Castle Pines at American Academy.
