On a beautiful fall day, some mighty kids came out for a big event in Castle Pines.  The Castle Pines Athletics Super Bowl III was held at Elk Ridge Park on October 22.  Congratulations to all of the players who played a tough season and with great sportsmanship.

The big winners were:
5th/6th grade age group – Denver Broncos, coached by Jeff DePasse, John Squires and Mark Welhaf; 3rd/4th grade age group – Seattle Seahawks, coached by Matt Martin and Phillip Rupert; 1st/2nd grade age group – Los Angeles Rams, coached by Ben Ingalls and Jim Holdridge.

Seattle Seahawks cornerback and wide receiver, Jaxon, had a blast playing this season. His motto is “never ever give up and try, try again and no matter what, you will succeed!”

Coach Phillip Rupert is really thankful for a great season. “Matt and I were very fortunate we had a great group of kids that played hard all season.  I really appreciate all the support provided from the parents,” shared Rupert.

Save the date! Registration for the spring season of NFL Flag Football through Castle Pines Athletics will open on January 1, 2017.   Visit www.castlepinesathletics.com to learn more.
