The Connection Food & Dining guide met with rave reviews

John eagerly awaiting his breakfast at The Egg & I in Castle Rock – a 26 mile trip each way.  Now that’s dedication. And John at La Dolce Vita after a happy hour beverage with manager, Sam.

John with Cranelli’s owner (and former Castle Pines resident) Lasinda Crane – “Delicious cannoli!”  John enjoying his time at Dukes Steakhouse for yet another happy hour.  If you haven’t been in for a while, stop by and check out Duke’s newly-expanded bar renovation.

Thanks to all our readers who provided feedback on the inaugural issue of The Connection Food & Dining guide.   We were thrilled by the response and look forward to incorporating your input into future issues.

Congratulations to Connection reader John Wade, who won a $25 gift certificate for sending in his photo – or several photos in John’s case – enjoying a unique dining experience.  John tried a few new restaurants, as well as some old favorites, with his dining guide in hand.

“I don’t consider myself to be photogenic, but it seemed like something fun and different to try,” said John, who also stated that he does like to eat and drink.  “It was fun to do.”

John is not a Castle Pines resident, but rather lives in Aurora.  He frequents Daniels Park (almost weekly) and says it is his “church.”  He became accustomed to picking up a copy of The Connection while in town and is now a regular reader on our mailing distribution list.

While John visited each establishment regardless of whether or not it was featuring a coupon, many readers have expressed an interest in more specials in the guide and a larger variety of food options.  As the guide continues to grow, we look forward to bringing you both.

Give us your feedback and tell us your favorites and we will invite those businesses to participate  as well.  And remember to keep your guide with you and snap a photo of you enjoying one of the
businesses featured.  Your name will be placed in the ongoing drawing to win a $25 gift certificate.

Special thanks to John for showing such enthusiasm and for sharing his photos with us.  E-mail your pictures and comments to
editor@castlepinesconnection.com.
