Bin Blessed celebrates ten years
Bin Blessed (BB) celebrated its 10th anniversary on September 25 at the home of Deni Schwartzel in The Village at Castle Pines. BB is a grassroots organization founded by Cy DeBoer to support There With Care, a nonprofit that brings essential items to families whose children are in critical care.
BB’s volunteer network, which has grown from 10 to more than 200, rang in the organization’s total donations for the decade at more than 116,000 diapers, 193,000 baby wipes, 35,000 pounds of food, and much more, totaling $1.2 million in in-kind and cash donations.
Laurie Peterson, the president and COO of There With Care, said, “Bin Blessed is just always there. They are doing deliveries; they are preparing bags; they are supporting our families in such a major way that you cannot even measure.”
Green attire and decor honored the signature green donation bins at Bin Blessed’s 10-year anniversary celebration in The Village at Castle Pines.
