CatFest

Dog lovers shouldn’t have all the fun! The Dumb Friends League invites people to celebrate their love of cats on Saturday, July 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at CatFest.

The annual CatFest will highlight adoptable cats and kittens, as well as feature a purebred cat exhibition, demonstrations, and vendor booths selling catrelated merchandise. The annual event also includes educational, veterinary and behavior information on cats, and family-oriented games and activities. More than 2,000 cat lovers are expected to attend the summer event.

“Summer is a busy time of year for the Dumb Friends League and animal shelters across the nation, as we receive thousands of homeless cats and kittens,” said Bob Rohde, president and CEO of the Dumb Friends League. “CatFest is a fun and educational event that’s intended to encourage cat adoptions, as well as give pet lovers the opportunity to learn more about our feline friends.”

The event will take place at Dumb Friends League Quebec Street shelter, located at 2080 S. Quebec St. in Denver.
