CPN Empty Nesters looking for Bridge players

by Carin Kirkegaard

The Empty Nesters coordinates two Bridge groups in the Castle Pines North community – a singles ladies bridge group and a couples bridge group.

The singles ladies bridge group meets the third Monday of the month and has eight ladies that rotate hosting the game in her home. Currently, there is a wait list of interested players that fill in as substitutes when someone is unable to play. The group is looking to find two more ladies interested in playing bridge to round out the group.

The couples bridge group has been meeting once a month for the past year and has plans to end their year with a luncheon. “It has been a fun year and we are taking names of anyone interested in playing when we start again in September,” said Bridge coordinator Angie Crowder. The group meets once a month in people’s homes.

The Empty Nesters is a social group designed to connect retirees with common interests. Not interested in Bridge? There is a number of different clubs to choose from.
