Elephant Rock set for June 7

Cyclists get your chains lubed and tires pumped. The Subaru Elephant Rock Cycling Festival is registering riders for what is unofficially called the start of the Colorado cycling season.

This event will take place Sunday June 7 at the Douglas County Fair Grounds in Castle Rock.

Riders can choose between three distances for paved road routes – 100 mile, 62 mile and 32 mile, a 25-mile off road course, or a seven-mile family course.

Courses have limited registration. Online registration ends May 20. To learn more about this event visit the web site at www.elephantrockride.com.
