Castle Pines club swimmers from both Colorado Athletic Club and the Rock Swim team shined at the end of the short-course swimming season by qualifying and competing in the Silver State and State Meets.

In addition to being awesome swimmers, this group of youth is very well rounded, boasting honor roll members, members of the National Honor Society, Boy Scouts, musicians, football players, track stars and equestrians.

In addition to qualifying for state, both Renehan and Kochevar made zone times. As a 10 year old, Kochevar qualified in seven events.

As part of USA Swimming, both clubs compete year round. Meets during the short-course season take place either in a 25-meter or yard pool. The short-course season runs from August through March. The long-course season finds swimmers competing in a 50-meter or yard pool and runs from April thorough July.
