Parker DMV office relocates to Lone Tree

Information provided by Douglas County

Castle Pines residents looking to renew vehicle registrations or visit the Department of Motor Vehices (DMV) now have a closer option, thanks to the relocation of the Parker DMV.

In August, Douglas County moved its motor vehicle operations from Parker to the Lone Tree location. The new office is located at The Park Meadows Center, 9350 Heritage Hills Circle, Lone Tree (across from the Super Target).

The availability of the Park Meadows facility was made possible by the Sheriff’s Office relocation to a new substation in Highlands Ranch. This created availability of a county-owned facility for other county uses.

In addition to improved street visibility and increased parking, the new, much larger facility saves taxpayers money. The County was paying approximately $100,000 annually in rent and utilities at the Parker location. Douglas County owns the Park Meadows Center and thus the rent expense was eliminated.

In addition to the Park Meadows Center office, two other Douglas County DMV offices include: 301 Wilcox Street, Castle Rock; and 2223 Wildcat Reserve Parkway, in Highlands Ranch.

Please note: This is not a driver’s license office.
