Light, casual, friendly and warm are words you might use to describe Robyn Appel upon meeting her. These happen to be the same things you feel when walking into her clothing boutique, Rebel, located in Greenwood Village. Rebel is an unexpected bright spot where fashion conscious women are sure to find something perfect for themselves.
Appel, a resident of Castle Pines Village, opened her boutique in September of 2006 after moving to Colorado from California. She had a great deal of retail experience, having owned three boutiques in southern California, and she sought to bring the California contemporary casual look to her new store. Rebel features a wide variety of items and caters to women of all shapes and sizes. Her top brands include Sanctuary, Vince, Joie, Michael Stars, Splendid, Autumn Cashmere, Hudson and J Brand.
“We are all about customer service,” remarked Appel. “We really value getting to know our customers.” The friendly staff is full of ideas and suggestions on the latest fashion trends, and they truly enjoy helping their customers put together a fun outfit or find the perfect pair of jeans.
Rebel Boutique was recently described as “the best boutique import from California” by Judie Schwartz and Evelinda Urman, the authors of A Fashion Lover’s Guide to the Best Shopping in Denver and Beyond. In addition to fun clothing, Rebel features shoes, scarves, handbags, belts, and a large selection of jewelry from eight local designers and two California designers.
Appel is excited to welcome new customers from her neighborhood. Mention this article, and receive 20 percent off any one full price item! Rebel is located at 5910 S. University Boulevard at the corner of Orchard Road.
