The Rock Canyon High School (RCHS) Jaguars varsity football team took on the Highlands Ranch Falcons on Friday, August 31 at Shea Stadium. The Jags came out with a 21-15 victory over the Falcons starting the Jags off with a record of 1-0.

Under the leadership of Coach Tom Lynch, Quarterback #16 Ryan Hommel scored three rushing touchdowns for RCHS with extra points kicked by #56 Wilson Haworth.

Parent Kevin Williams remarked, “The RCHS student body, led by the Canyon Crazies, decided to make the game a “white out.”  In seven years, that is the largest RCHS crowd I have ever seen at Shea Stadium … they filled the entire stadium!”

The RCHS Varsity Jaguars were amped up on August 31 as they prepared to take on cross town rival, Highlands Ranch Falcons.

RCHS Quarterback Ryan Hommel was ready for action as he led his team to a 21-15 victory at Shea Stadium.
