North Meadows Extension overpass open house provides insight

The Town of Castle Rock’s (Town) recent open house gave residents from surrounding communities an opportunity to gather more information and view display boards of the North Meadows Extension project’s overpass option. The overpass project will provide a secondary access for traffic at Meadows Parkway and U.S. Highway 85, near The Meadows development in Castle Rock.
Construction for the project is expected to begin this year and to be completed near the end of 2015. However, according to Dan Sailer, engineering manager for the town, a specific construction start date has not been determined, due to several state and federal procedures that need to be addressed.
